If you open Advanced Control, right click on the specific slot under Folding Slots, and pause. Please finish any current WUs before pausing - the "Finish" option will do this.

Re: I want to do more help
if I was told about this earlier, I would of been here folding before. That's what I'm hoping for, that some people are here because of covid, but not only because of it, and will feel that making progress on other diseases are worth folding on. The F@H dev chat might be an interesting watch, they ...

Extremely slow download (and then stopped) from 13.82.98.119
I'm guessing this is the server's connection being saturated, but just in case the server admin needs to be informed. And maybe the client needs a fix to detect dropped connections so it doesn't just wait for hours doing nothing at all? Logs: 08:16:59:WU02:FS01:Download 68.10% 08:17:05:WU02:FS01:Dow...

Is this what's actually being modeled? Or is it another bug? I've never seen this water block beforeNuovaApe wrote:Viewer; GPU - showing the pulsating purple "water block" + protein. But this just left me fascinated about how much stuff is being modeled. Incredible.

Is it really 7.8.9 or is it getting late for you?PantherX wrote:AFAIK, 7.6.8 isn't defective. I don't know what changes have happened between 7.8.8 and 7.8.9 as the change log is identical for both versions.
I have confirmation that the latest stable version is 7.8.9

Re: GTX 1660 showing as gpu:0:[xxx] gets no WUs
I'm curious, since I also have a 1660, what kind of PPD are you getting? I'm not too sure as I'm having a really difficult time getting WUs. Current counter is saying 678567 with the i9-9900 folding too. This is my prebuilt work PC, a Dell Optiplex 7071. Ah okay that sounds in line with what I'm ge...

Re: Running the Linux version of FAH in Windows?
My guestimate is that Linux is fastest, Windows is second, and Linux within Windows is third, simply because you're running inside a VM, which means more software (and hardware) layers. Even if you're running Linux inside Windows, Windows is still controlling the hardware. Based on my past experime...
