Re: FahSpy (monitoring tool)

I've been using this for a while, but today FAHSpy isn't recognising anything, all the units are coming up as project 0, worth 0 points. I've tried updating the database, deleting the projects html file and even though it downloaded a new one I'm still just seeing project 0. All my PC's are still th...

Project: 5733 (Run 4, Clone 21, Gen 521)

I'm on my 6th run of this and I've lost patience with it. It keeps failing at around the same point each time. How many times do these units get sent out before the server gives up? I'm going to delete it because I must be getting close to the dreaded 24 hour sleep. EDIT, too late the next at...

Re: Project: 4438 (Run 595, Clone 0, Gen 52)

Terminating via the task manager is not the right way to close the client, however I think I understand the problem, you are using the icon tray but you can't see the icon to close it down properly? In this case, I'd probably restart the computer but even then there's a good chance that the work wil...

Re: Too Many Connections

I wonder if there's any chance of reinstating the detailed stats once the new server comes on line. :?: It's something I really miss :egeek:

Re: Do Laptops Get Too Hot?

I have 3 Dual Core laptops folding 24x7 for almost 2 years. I set the CPU usage to 80% on all of them and that prevents them from overheating. Getting on for 8,000 units between them so they've been very productive. I do have a 4th Dual Core Laptop but this started to get annoyingly noisy when foldi...

Not accepting results again for the last 8 hours or so. I've got a dozen waiting to send. Roll on the new servers.

Re: Is it just me or are the Stats not updating?

Though some WU for me are starting to post, things are still way behind and do not seem to be getting better :( Most of my machines( 6 in total ) are 10 to 20 WU behind. I certainly hope things start to become better here in the near future or I might start to lose interest here and have them start...

Re: 169.230.26.30

Yes, I'm getting pretty fed up with machines sitting there for hours trying to get work from troublesome servers. This has been going on for weeks and weeks. I'm in the seventh year with this project but I'm gone soon unless something is done.

Re: 169.230.26.30 Unable to connect

That server is to all intents and purposes empty. It only has work when a unit is returned which then creates the next unit. So it's just a matter of luck if you get a unit on your first attempt. The good thing is that relative to other units the Ambers on this server don't take long so work is bein...

Re: 171.67.108.20 Could not connect to Work Server

No luck for the past 8 hours. Can somebody please check this server? Your'e right, getting work is a matter of luck right now for classic units and I'm sure that's not good for the project!! There just isn't enough work to go around and its been like this for days. I've got machines on their 15th/1...

Re: 171.67.108.20 Could not connect to Work Server

Looking at the server itself it seems to be stuck at 10,000 available units, seen this before and its a sign that somethings wrong. Re: No work available

I've been running with the -advmethods for months and I've tried removing that flag and adding / removing BigWU. I haven't tried -advmethods plus BigWU's, last time I did that the Units were a 40mb upload, too big a hit for my connection. Not sure what version I'm running but I haven't updated it fo...
