I've been reading threw some or all of the posts available for folding on an android device.

As far as I'm aware you can fold on 4.4 upwards and its supported on tablets. You can also fold under you google account but its not included as such as you would have on a desktop system; you would need to set up a separate account. You don't receive PPD or WU recondition but you receive achievements. Is this correct.

Is their anything I have missed. I've stopped fah for a cupple of months now but want to come back on android and willing to purchase a number of tablets but I need info on what chip is supported such as ARM and what price range you looking at for a tablet to fah on.

Correct, both recognition systems are (at this point in time) independent. The donor/passkey from "classical" F@H and the Google-based ID for the Android version don't know each other.
The concept is different: the Android version is based on streaming core, nothing like a WU as such exists which makes the time to participate the only measurement.

I run the Android client on a Nexus 7 from 2013 under KitKat. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexus_7 ... version%29
