Can't wake up my computer

Post by Weej »

I'm new with F@H. I have a Win10+NVidia GTX 770. My computer is running Project 16505
When I return to my computer in the morning I'm unable to wake up my computer. I have to power down by holding the button on the computer's housing. I changed my System settings for Power are to Sleep:Never and turn off the screen after 2 hours. I made these changes yesterday after having the same problem yesterday morning.
How can I set things up to enable me to wakeup the computer smoothly?

Is the latest driver, about a week old, that may help.

Welcome to the F@H Forum Weej,

Can you please post the log file? Ensure you include the first 100 lines which will inform us of what the system configuration is and what the client settings are. If you require guidance, please view this topic: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036

The first thing that comes to my mind would be that the system crashed. Can you please provide details of PSU and ambient temperature too?

Are you using displayport video? .. iirc there was/is an issue with not waking from sleeping monitor related to some displayport configurations ... if so try not sleeping monitor and use blank screen saver instead - not perfect but better than lock ups
