Configuring FAH (Ubuntu user)

Post by Richard »

I have the FAH client working and running on my CPU.

FAH web control is showing my GPU as amber hence inactive.

I cannot find anywhere on the web control to allow me to configure my FAH client.

Anyone have ideas on where this would be in the web control?

Welcome to the FoldingForum support site.

WebControl is not designed to configure the client. It's intended to be SIMPLE ... to be used with a client that automatically configured itself correctly during installation ... with the only adjustments that you can make being the Power setting and the When setting. For full control, you'll need FAHControl, which can make any necessary adjustments.

Please post the first couple of pages per the notes in the Signature block of this post ... or, at least tell us the model number of your GPU and whether you installed the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

You'll need to run Ubuntu 18.04, to be able to install FAHControl, which allows you to control the features via a GUI interface.

On latest Ubuntu, you'll be able to run FAHClient, but will have to manually set the configuration file.
We really need a manual on this, or some kind of advice to configure a 'headless' FAHClient on later Linux versions!
