Points vs Score?

I was noticing lately that on the Web Control it displays "Points" while on the Advanced Control and stats pages it displays "Score".
Why is that? I don't recall seeing mention of this...

Points and Score are the same thing.

One of my pet peeves has been that FAH doesn't establish a standard set of names for things. (Points vs. score is just one example and I could cite many more examples.) Either word would work, but fixing it would require systematically changing all the software and all the web pages where the term being obsoleted is replaced by the preferred term. I'd be happy to learn the preferred term and stop using the other one -- though I can't speak for the rest of the world..
