They are not paused after they are configured -- the errors shown cannot occur with paused slots, they won't try to download when paused.

Really sorry - should have looked at rest of thread and your log more carefully ... I was an idiot - I saw the cpu and gpu paused lines in your log and associated it with the topic title and it was too nice a coincidence - I should have realised it wouldn't be that easy.

Well, it was not totally unreasonable -- it's always difficult to remember all the bits that need looking at before reaching a conclusion. :roll:

@WebMaximus
Your log shows "GPUs: 0" and
20:43:53:<config>
20:43:53: <!-- Folding Slots -->
20:43:53:</config>
yet it says you have two unconfigured slots
20:43:54:Enabled folding slot 00: PAUSED cpu:4 (not configured)
20:43:54:Enabled folding slot 01: PAUSED gpu:0:TU102 [GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Rev. A] M 13448 (not configured)

You probably are folding with a different Windows username than the person who installed the software. The installation works best if you are logged on by the user who is going to be logged on to the computer.

@Neil-B
Please post the same log segment that WebMaximus did.

I was (ineptly) trying to help WebMaximus - in a rush I spotted the two paused lines you mention and confused myself by thinking he was the OP and these were his missing CPU/CPU ... and now my apology has gone and confused yourself .... Argh ... Looks for nearest hole to go and hide in ... Sorry

@bruce Are @webmaximus's slots not configured immediately after those messages? If not configured, why are they trying to get work?

If the problem is persisting, try restarting F@H (a reboot of the whole system may be the quickest and cleanest way).
