Question: HowTo Merge old and new client.db ?

Post by Manfred.Knick »

Having to re-install F@H, i have
- an "old" version of client.db and client.db-journal
- - containing a WU for one slot (01)
- and a "new" version of client.db
- - containing a WU for the other slot (00)
( CPU and GPU, respectively),
both with WUs already started.

Merging the completely disjunct subdirectories is easy;
but how to merge the databases?

If I delete the new client.db,
will it be re-built at next start from the information in the [ 00 | 01 ] subdirectories,
containing both WU projects to resume the work already begun?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know to merge. But maybe just run the old client.db to finish and then switch to new client.db? Hope that does not dump the other work unit, so maybe move the new work unit away and after old client.db finished move it back and replace with new client.db
