Points zero when I enter passkey

Post by waingram »

When I enter a passkey, my points go to zero. If I take the passkey away, the points come back.

Your points don't go to zero, just that the Web Control only shows points for both your username and passkey once there is one. The points earned without a passkey will show up on the official stats for a search on just your username.

Thanks for your reply. I must be missing something. When I got my passkey, I processed several WUs but accrued no points. I contributed no points to my team during that time. I only seem to earn points (or contribute to the team) without a passkey.

Actually, something just changed. I just tried changing my identity from username/no passkey to username/passkey and the latter does now show some points. So maybe all is well after all.

Just to clarify: Are username/no passkey and username/passkey different identities? Are my stats from the two identities combined under the common donor? And are my team contributions per identity or per donor?

Yes, they are different identities. They are NOT combined on the official stats, but some of the 3rd party stats do combine them, ... along with anybody else who happen to use the same username.
