GPU used at 50%

Post by Ibiz »

Hi folks,
I have a laptop with a Nvidia GeForce 940 MX
Task Manager on Windows shows, among other, Compute_0 and Compute_1 graphs. Compute_0 is used at 100% while Compute_1 is ignored.
On F@H config, I have one GPU slot with the following options
paused False
pci-slot 0
pci-bus 1
I don't understand what pci-slot and pci-bus mean and I wonder if I can tweak the configuration to use the card at 100%
Thank you !

Task Manager showing 100% for Compute_0 means you are already using your GPU fully.

I feel Task Manager is confusing at best, and use the sensor tab of GPU-Z when I can.

Some people have multiple GPUs in their system. When a new WU is downloaded, FAHClient must request one that works for a particular GPU (in case they're different) and the downloaded WU must be associated with the particular GPU that requested it. The two notations pci-slot 0 and pci-bus 1 are FAHClient's method of identifying the right GPU.
