Monitoring VMWare Running Ubuntu Server Edition?

Post by rbpeake »

I have been using Windows VMPlayer to run the 64-bit Ubuntu Server Edition, and have not been successful in figuring out how to monitor my folding. The Server Edition appears just to run on a command line basis, with no GUI/display to edit Samba.

Has anyone had success with a Folding monitor in such a situation?

Thanks very much! :)

You can edit Samba from the cli (commandline). You just need to edit your samba conf file...

Then once you've done that you add your share to your Fahmon or whatever client you use.
