problem with qd binary for linux

Post by jimerickson »

using both ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04 alpha2 and can't get the latest qd to run. that is the Jan. 13, 2010 version of qd. wondering if anyone else had experienced this. i made sure the file permissions were correct and that it is executable. thanks.

I assume you're using the amd64 release of Ubuntu, which requires ia32-libs for qd to run (even though the FAH client is now 64bit too, qd is still 32bit).

If Ubuntu has dropped support for ia32-libs already in favor of the new multi-arch packages, you'll need to install libc6-i386.

If all else fails, compile qd yourself.

What was "it"? ia32-libs or libc6-i386?
