frame vs. steps in log file

Post by ChristianVirtual »

I use the 3rd party API to get information about folding process. Sofar easy to use.

But I struggle to fully understand whats behind values for "totalframes" and "framesdone". Which I assumed are the frames for a WU.

This is kind of against the definition here: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=16206 as I can see totalframe in all kind of values (40, 250, 1500 ...)
Also this frame counter seems not linked to the TPF values provided by the API.

The TPF value itself it fitting well with the continuos logging data provided by the API.

So the question is: what is "totalframes" and "framedone" ?

:?

You might want to ask the 3rd party software developer about that. You'll get the best answer from him/her.
