qfix for OSX Leopard

Post by Aardvark »

I recently lost a “high value” WU due to it not being able to upload to Stanford after completing. I attempted to locate a version of qfix that might be able repair the WU but wasn’t able to locate a version designated for OSX10.5.4 before time ran out.

I have located the open source qfix.c file. Just what software and what process must I use to compile this into a file that will run on my Mac Mini running under 10.5.4 ? I would like to be set up to give it a try if I encounter another of those hung WUs.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

uncle_fungus,
The following is listed at the bottom of the page you cited:
Mac OS X/Universal : qfix (41.55 KB) The Universal binary requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later
Compiled with : Xcode 2.5
Compiled on : Mac OS X 10.4, with gcc version 4.0.1 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 5367)
Modified : Sat Nov 17 16:00:22 2007
Do you think that this file will run successfully in Leapord?
