not getting accurate ppd

Post by damian »

I have a GTX 260 (core 216) and a Core I7 920. FaHmon reports ppd count of 6900~7500ppd (average 7100). But my EOC stats has never seen anything higher than 3100ppd. I'v been folding for days yet EOC still reports 3100ppd and kakao stats with 4k ppd.
Any ideas as to what need to be done?

FahMon reports your theoretical PPD assuming that your computer is on 24/7 working on the same WU over and over again. The 3rd party stats report your real PPD based on what you turned in from the last 24 days or the entire week.

Check Your user and team numbers. I had once wrong team number caused by typo and points went to other team....

Also check that your name is exact in each client config. you may see 2 you's (slightly different) on your team as well.

And check your logs for EUE's, as the reported ppd is theoretical and based on you actually completing the work unit fully :)

Agree, I made the same mistake once. It's very hard to find, but be patient.

The last WU turned in by your PS3:
Hi Damian (team 0),
Your WU (P3460 R10 C11 G309) was added to the stats database on 2011-04-03 15:03:07 for 251 points of credit.

Probably should go into your PS3 settings and change the team number if your in fact folding on a PS3. That could be someone else since you didn't mention it.

I only see one client running on your computer:
Hi DAMIAN (team 149125),
Your WU (P6883 R213 C13 G26) was added to the stats database on 2011-04-02 21:06:45 for 69 points of credit.

Looks like a classic WU. You should use the -smp flag on that client.

No sign of any GPU WUs. Check name/team # on that client and for EUEs as MtM mentioned.

Also, you need to successfully turn in 10 SMP WUs before you get bonus points. FahMon doesn't know if your bonus points eligible so will show you getting bonus points even though your probably not.
