The first time I've seen furin mentioned as related to COVID-19.

Zinc and Vitamin C are used to improve the general health. Not really COVID 19 specific.
There are other methods, like, start taking Echinacea. It'll boost your immune system.
Zinc is found in Mushrooms, chocolate powder (dark chocolate), beans, greens, or in food supplements.
It's always good to regularly take a multivitamin (once a week or so), and additional to that, supplements supplementing what you lack in your diet.
