Duplicate username?

Post by ywlke »

My Folding username is "wyang", contributing to team TJHSST. For whatever reason, there are two listings for me on the team page:
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... mnum=42369
(There was a long period of time when I didn't run folding, and recently I picked up again, and noticed this strange issue. The one with 3 WU is from when I ran it awhile back, while the other one is accumulating current WU submission counts.)

Is there a way the two "wyang"s could be merged?

Once submitted, there is no way to merge the contributions of two names as there is no way to prove they came from the same donor.

This will happen when there is a difference in the way the name is entered and it isn't always obvious, such as a space entered unintentionally.

If it makes you feel any better there was a lone WU sent home from sortofaggek. I solemnly swear that was mine, but it will forever tell the world it is not. :ewink:

Welcome to the site. We're glad you are folding and glad you are here. :)

Hmm...that's sad...but there is something else I don't understand. In the two hyperlinks, one has a "pname=" instead of "username=" instead. What is a pname?

Was your previous user name an email address?
If you choose your email address as your username, we will NOT print your full email address. Instead, just the part before the @ sign will be used in any stats listing, etc.
My guess is yes.

Oh. I suppose that's what I did. No way to fix that now?
