what does "Warning: long 1-4 interactions" mean?

Post by torswin »

Hello. I got a pretty large WU I think, and I read through the log and found out it said "Warning: long 1-4 interactions" and was wondering what that means. It is 18.07 here, so it has been working on the same thing for a while now so I'm a bit concerned if something is broken or something.

I'll let someone else handle the definition, but this thing takes 7-14 days, depending on your hardware. Don't worry about the slow progress. I'm on day 5 of one right now.

edit- On other WUs, "Long 1-4" will cause an EUE. On the 1487, it's "normal" and will just keep running.

I did a reboot of the system and the log said "Work files missing", which I don't understand why. Oh well. :S

Since you're running a Linux client, I'll have to let someone else comment on the lost work files, as well. Next time you see a 1487, just relax.

Allright. Did a reinstall of the client just in case, and now I'm back to normal again I hope :) Thanks for the help.
