now GPU -> 442 teraflops, 4021 GPUs.

IF that's all nVidia GPUs, then they are averaging 150 gigaflops per GPU. (442-143)/(4021-2068) How can this happen? My guess is that some nVidia GPUs were operating less than 24 hours when F@H updated and the new update captured performance of some of the new GPUs working 24/7.

IF some of that increase is because of the improvements/updates to the ATI client, that's awesome too! :)

With over 2 petaflops of power, the pressure is on Stanford to come up with a scientific breakthru w/respect to protein folding and Alzheimer's.

Once nVidia puts out WHQL certified drivers for all cards (that don't require any INI file hacks), I believe we will quickly see one Petaflop from GPUs alone... might take less than 10000 active GPUs to get there

Looks like we'll sustain 2 PFLOPS this time... half the fun of running FAH is seeing how far we can push it.

how many days/weeks did PS3 initially grow until it started to level off?

wondering when folks think it will start to level off?

My guess is we see a short-term peak on Sunday and then another higher short-term peak the next two Sundays. I hope we see a decent surge over the weekend as people build dedicated folding machines.

We could possibly go a lot higher. Right now, GPU2 is a lot easier to run than GPU1, but not really a "set it and forget it" client just yet. Hopefully we can smooth that out to make it as easy to run as the PS3 client. If we can make that happen, I think we could get a lot of GPU2 clients, and bring a lot of performance to FAH. It wouldn't take *that* many GPU2 clients to bring FAH to the 10 petaflop level.

So does this mean that the Windows clients (CPU and SMP and GPU2) are now contributing 1PF all by themselves? excellent :P

Yeah, just 2.7 MHz, me bought cheapo mobo EVGA e-7150/630i to replace my cheap ECS GF7100PVT-M3 which I did a bad BIOS flash on, the ECS was definitely better for OC, just didn't quite like the layout on the board with some of the ports being obscured by my 8800GT and it did not quite have all the outputs the EVGA has. Anyway, one of these days I will build my dream rig :-). This one is just a puta that works and is ok for playing Oblivion and Assassin's creed on.

I think he meant that you mean 2.7GHz rather than 2.7MHz ;)

looking into my glass sphere, I predict: By Wednesday, the GPUs will crack the 1000 TFlops mark. In 10 days, the GPUs beat the PS3s.
