Do we have an ETA on when the stats page will be updated? I have a lot of people on my folding team pausing production.

Yea, hopefully it's up soon. I'm sure they are working hard on it.

I just started a team for us over at Notebook Review Forums, and our last update was on the 10th it looks. Though our systems have been folding since friday. I also need to learn how to optimize my AMD GPUs for my M17x R2

it seems to me that the problem still exists! in the last day I just finished 4 works into 3 different machines but into the stats it appears that I finished last work on december 8: I hope that all this work is not going to be lost..

one question: what the FAH team do suggest to: stopping folding or going on as normal?

Thanks.

I have chilled water, send the servers to me
It's been 20 minutes since I read your post, and I am still chuckling!

They really should build more data centers in Norway :ewink: Free chilled water most of the year!

I'm hoping no work was lost as well since I have completed about 10k points since the last updated WU. It would be nice to know if we should continue folding or pause work since I still have some case work to do on my dedicated folding pc.

Continue as normal, the work servers are sending and receiving work fine, its just the stats server is down now. All your points will eventually be uploaded, timing will depend on what is broken and how long it takes to fix. You can't pop into your local store and buy a new one

Fold on!!

Have you tried using the Beta 7 Client with the new Core 16?

I get great points folding on my dual 6850's using the new 16 core.

Are you missing points??? - please read this!!!

Post by Nathan_P »

If you are wondering where your points are, there was a major server outage at Stanford over the weekend and the stats (points) server is still down.

Points should be credited and be visible on your stats site of choice as soon as the server is back up and running. Given that it has been a couple of days now i can only assume that the problem with the stats server is serious.

Please do not post asking where credit for a WU is as the mods will not be able to tell you.

Should you still fold - yes, the work servers are fine and they will upload all point data to the stats server once it is fixed.

Once the server is back up and running it may take some time for stats to fully update as there will be a lot of data to process.

Please be patient and fold on!!

@orphic1 I'm using the Beta 7 Client, but don't really know what the Core 16 is. I'll have to research that tonight.

Glad to know I can keep folding and not worry about losing work :D

You need to add the following extra slot option in expert view in the folding slot options screen:

client-type | advanced

For each ATI GPU slot and then it should start folding using the new 16 Core which is more efficient on ATI GPU's.

Awesome, will do when I get home. Also going to start folding on my M11x, anything special I need to know for my Nvidia GPU? Thanks again!
