Also, the part where "Many teams are paying for folding" is something that I want to know how it got in there.

I deleted that once. Guess I need to go back.

EDIT: I left the info about teams and prizes, but removed the reference to the institute the is doing the promoting. The guy that keeps adding the promotion back in also edits that institutes Wiki entry. Clearly he is biased.

I'll send him a warning next time he does it, and then see if i can find an admin to block him from the folding entry.

If not i suppose i could write a bot that would deface there entry on a regular basis. Something amusing like remove all instances of the letter s from the page or swap the first and last characters. He'll soon get the message.

Keeping Wikipedia entries accurate is futile. I've tried on some, but human nature is a powerful thing.

I've resurrected my old editor account, and will try and keep an eye on things.

If he keeps editing it, i'll put in a request to have him blocked from editing that page, and if that doesnt work then see if the folding page can be made immutable.

The term "many" is inaccurate. It should be "one". I don't mind it if it is accurate. They can pay people for folding as long as the project is benefited.

I check the page daily (check the history for username "Johnnaylor", you'll see I'm somewhat obsessive about it)... I'll try and revert any edits about this if they are inaccurate...
