Official FAH merchandise

Post by fangfufu »

Hi, I am just wonder if this (http://www.cafepress.com/folding) is the official FAH merchandise store. I really dislike the design.

Anyway, I want some stickers for my new laptop. I really like the favicon / FAH desktop icon. I wonder if the Pande group can update the store store with some better design, so I can buy and donate to them (in addition to the computational time, obviously :P).

FAH did authorize cafepress to use the logos.
FAH does not receive a profit from the sales.

So why doesn't FAH receive any profit from the sales?

I suppose so that FAH doesn't get questions about its non-profit status, but that's just a guess.

If you want to donate 10% of the cost to FAH, that's allowed but it's between you, Stanford/FAH, and your tax-man, without cafepress acting as a middle-man.

There was a previous attempt to sell shirts, and unfortunately it fell short of the minimum order. See the FAH News (blog) post.

I thought about buying those, it was a bit too expensive for me as a student.

Apparently that offer is not completely dead. If a few more people (15) express an interest in the shirt, they will re-activate the offer.
