Thanks. Did you receive a bug number from their tracking system?

What's the best way to contact nVidia without just being another insignificant customer? I'm quite prepared to point out to them that I will not buy Maxwell until the bug affecting Folding is sorted.

I am not a developer, but it appears that it should be on their Developer Forums. However, I searched "atomics" for March 2014, and don't see it.

Do you have a link or reference number? We can hound them to death if need be.

I just asked. "The bug ID is internal in our system."

Well, here are my 2 cents:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topi ... river-bug/

If someone can get hold of a private individual at nVidia at c-level/product management/engineering/marketing I'll gladly sign on this. That or we could start an on-line petition ;-)

Let's assume this will get a +1 from most of us (but saying it here won't get their attention until we have a petition on their website.

LOL

That site was where I was first introduced to GPU folding back when it was Nvidia SLI site. I still have my old user account and name there from way back then. :o

added my 2 cents worth

Just a thought, but perhaps it would be a good idea to also contact Khronos directly with details on this issue?

Especially since nVidia is supposed to be "OpenCL conformant":
https://www.khronos.org/conformance/ado ... ies#opencl

Probably they already have appropriate contacts with nVidia with the people responsible for OpenCL compliance.
