Welcome to the folding support forum.

By their nature, GPU's are either processing or not doing so, so there is no way currently to adjust the percentage they are used. The option available at this time is whether the GPU is folding all of the time, or only when the PC is not in use otherwise, i.e. "On Idle".

That's correct.

GPUs have no way to contrl how much processing they do nor any structure to enable priority of one GPU work packet over another which is queued or running.

(GPU developers have hinted that some of those capabilites might be in future models.)

Since at any one time, the GPU is either processing or idle, The only way to reduce the GPU load is to pause the WU. FAH three choices: Folding, Paused, or run only when the system is idle -- which pauses the WU when you're at the keyboard/mouse and resumes processing after things quiet down.

Why do you want to set gpu to less than 100%?

If it is getting too hot or loud you can use a tool to limit power usage or temperature, e.g. on Windows use MSI Afterburner.

If it is interfering with video you can disable hw acceleration in video player or internet browser.
