Errors downloading a New Member Certificates

Post by bcavnaugh »

I am getting the below error on any Member when I try to download a New Certificate from http://folding.stanford.edu/ - http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/donors

http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/api/a ... /973003287
error "[Errno 27] File too large: '/afs/ir.stanford.edu/group/foldingathome/cgi-bin/stats/cache/cert.bcavnaugh.970000000.jpg'"

http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/api/a ... /600708893
error "[Errno 27] File too large: '/afs/ir.stanford.edu/group/foldingathome/cgi-bin/stats/cache/cert.Scarlet-Tech.600000000.jpg'"

Older Certificates seem to still work or one that was downloaded weeks ago.
Thanks for any Help you can provide.

Error downloading certificate

Post by snapshot »

I get the following error when trying to download a certificate:

error "[Errno 27] File too large: '/afs/ir.stanford.edu/group/foldingathome/cgi-bin/stats/cache/cert.hurwitt.90000000.jpg'"

I see the problem was reported here a couple of weeks ago but there were no replies to that post. Please can we do better here?

The problem was noted by PG and somebody was assigned to work on it.

I've found similar errors when using the new serverstat page.

Would you care to enlighten us?
It's even possible it may help those trying to fix the issue (by working out the server-side differences between default and workaround).

Well, that's me almost done. I'll reach 100 million points later today and I'll be shutting down if I can't download that certificate. Please wake me up if the problem is ever fixed.

I talked to the guy who was assigned the task of fixing this. He hasn't forgotten.

I was waiting for them to Fix the New Website.
I found a place to get your Certificates From the Client Tool.
