I do know there will be a major time COVID busting hardware upgrade, should I win the Power-ball or Mega-million lottery prize (after paying the tax man)....

My list is already a work in progress wish list @ Newegg. :D

We have been slipping, down below 1.7 exaflops now.
Been sending info out to media outlets to try to generate interest but no one seems to be biting.

economy down, people have no money to run their rigs.
Plus, the news nowadays seem to focus on other than COVID news.
I've been staying in my cave for the past month and a half, and hope I'm somehow going to come come out with antibodies. XD

COVID works comes in waves. The rate at which new projects have been appearing is down, partly because of the needs of FAH's customers and for other reasons. At this moment, there are donors with idle equipment because FAH servers' can't supply them fast enough.

I expect total FLOPS to go up soon.

This "user" was pushing out A LOT of points fast, but then dropped off (relative to themself) I'm interested/fear what flops will drop to once we get 50 days out from their big push.

I believe that is one of the corporate sites. They may have been effected by the same varying wave of WU availability as various COVID-19 projects ramp up and then finish. Could also have scaled back participation for business reasons as demand for their servers changed over the last 12 weeks.

That particular "user" blazes through GPU WUs ... If as appears to be that when there is a lack of GPU WUs or server connection issues this significantly impacts/reduces the throughput ... Have watched this pattern for the last few months - when more GPU WUs come online I would hope to see the user bounce up again ... their throughput occasionally been massively higher than the chart shows - look a the weekly figures for end of March and start of April !!

ec2 spot, seems like amazon cloud services.
They had an insane amount of CPU and GPUs running.
Not sure if this was a benchmark test, or a generous donation from Amazon AWS.
As it's not easy to set up all these units. They're like 10k compute units (mixed Linux CPU and GPU).

I know my 2 older quad-core systems were slacking (mostly my fault for trying to be "experimental" with them.... :(

Good news though, I have re-installed Fedora 32.x on them, and made it a point of order that I will not touch FAHControl settings anymore. Also, there will be no more attempts to add the GT 710 GPU slot (and the OpenCL support software for that matter).

The Ryzen 3 system I built for my dad is currently pumping out WU's from the CPU, the integrated GPU, and the GTX 1650 card I hoped to use in my now retired Windows 7 machine. I left it set for just running one CPU job at a time, as I don't need to slow it down to the point he can't go online or play his strategy game.

Oh how I wish I could win a good size lottery prize, so I could prepare for the next major WU surge from the F@H servers.

We're under 1.6 exaflops, a full exaflop under the peak :(

Come on people, this pandemic is far from over!

I don't care if I'm busting COVID's sorry rear end, or Cancer's.... It will be "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to fold I go..." should I win that lottery.

It's also getting into summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and people don't like their rooms getting hot or AC bills going up :D

There is a significant increase in the number of Nvidia GPUs, from 220000 two weeks ago to 423000 today, all the increase is on linux machines. What is that? A test farm installed by NVidia to test their upcoming 30xx consumer grade GPUs? All other machine numbers (Windows Nvidia, AMD on Linux and windows, CPUs... are falling).
