No WU downloading

Post by roygrubb »

I'm running FAH on one core of an AMD 3900X and also on an RTX 2080 Ti
It's been running ok on both slots for the previous 22 days, but now the graphics card slot Shows 'Download" in FAHControl and has been showing that for several hours now. The CPU slot is running.

Any advice on why this may be?

Thanks.

I have another unrelated question but I'll make a separate entry for that.

It is highly likely that you have encountered a known issue where if the network connection is interrupted, the client can't recover (https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/fah-issues/issues/983). The easiest method to fix it is to restart the client or your system, whatever is the easiest.

Thanks, a restart did the trick. Will remember that. Will also try killing FAH in task manager and restarting FAH.
