Folding @ home team

Post by Forcinghavok »

Hello, I was wondering if there is a team I can join? About 20 years ago I created a team and I used to get people to join, but since I left college and got married and all that. I haven't really been able to get people to join my team. So, I was wondering if there is a team I can join?

I live in North Carolina and would love to join a team that is as passionate about folding at home as I am. I have been folding proteins for about 20 years now.

Thank you,
Erik

Hi Erik, if you don't want to stay in your own team why not try looking for one that represents shared interests or common ideas. There are teams for certain hardware choices and locations, there are even ones with dedicated forums and prizes and stuff.

FYI, the Forum rules prohibit from advertising/recommending/recruiting/etc. for teams. We are team agnostic. Having said that, you can always search for local interest groups and see what team you would like to join. Joining a team doesn't require "permission" or anything like that. All you need to join a team is their team number and you're good to go. You can also rotate between different teams if you feel like it. Your user stats page will list all the teams you have contributed to :)
