Hello

Post by Metehan »

My name is Metehan. I get a weird satisfaction on folding, so instead of using my new gaming comp for gaming, I use it for folding 24/7 on a 32 bit XP machine using 3.2gigs of memory. I am using a q6600 OCED to 3gigs. I am running 4 clients. I have a question? Do you I beat the PS3 in points perday?

Actually, on that computer, 1 smp client will get you 2-3 times the number of points of a PS3.

Running 4 uniprocessor clients might come close to a PS3 but unlikely to be more at that speed.

A PS3 will get you around 900 PPD (points per day).
I've never run four clients but suspect they would probably produce around 800 PPD.
One smp client on that computer gets around 2800 PPD.

You'd do better to install an SMP client, instead of 4 standard clients ;)
