So was everyone else lucky when you uploaded to xx.56.

I am getting some WU's from xx.54 after a few attempts. So today's "science" will not be a complete failure.

Someone go wake up Peter (or whomever is managing this server) - Please.

Three SMP clients crunching A3 WUs here. So far, my problems getting and sending have been minor compared to some I have seen here, with no more than three or four tries to connect.

One of three of those is now having more trouble.

I don't think there is any point for anyone to keep telling them what they already know and have stated they are working on. In my experience, that just takes them away from what they were trying to do and slows the process.

I've got another one coming due in a couple of hours as well, so hopefully it's resolved by then. I'm sure they're doing all they can to resolve the issue, but it's frustrating to get a 5 hour "pause" after already dealing with a long low PPD WU, not to mention the loss of bonus points for time sensitive WUs.

I guess I got lucky with only a 30 minute wait for getting a new WU. Bad news is that it isn't a bigadv WU but a 6702 instead. Still, better than nothing.

Mine finally pulled a WU after more than 6 hours.... got one supposed to be finishing in under 10 minutes, we'll see how that goes.

I was finally able to pull down a new WU after about 7 hours. Still haven't been able to send the one that last finished. Hopefully it will autosend at some point.

It was not a question as you know, but now you said it should show up on the forums, it does not ( always ). IE8 might be abit buggy.

My client has had no more problems, netload is down as well. Wonder how it will be in a few hours ( I think the server being down once might have a cascading effect: many users have simular configurations and will process their new wu in approx. the same time, so they will all try to upload and get new one's at the same time? ).

We're definitely aware of the issue. As you can tell from the server status page, the major problem is not with this server per se, but that they other SMP servers are low on work units and this one is therefore getting overloaded...
