No WU assigned by 140.163.4.231?

Post by Sakkura »

My GPU folding slot doesn't seem to be getting a new WU after completing its last one earlier today. I tried updating my client to version 7.4.4 (from 7.3.9 IIRC) but it made no difference.

Most of my log is about the CPU slot that's running fine. Here's all it has about my GPU folding slot:

Code: Select all

21:39:48:WU00:FS00:Assigned to work server 140.163.4.231

21:39:50:8:127.0.0.1:New Web connection
And here is the full log. I tried stopping and restarting the folding at 21:40:16.

Re: No WU assigned by 140.163.4.231?

It looks to me as though reconfiguring the CPU slot killed the just requested GPU download. The client is known to handle some comms interruptions badly -- this may include those caused by a shutdown to reconfigure. Try pausing the CPU slot, exiting and restarting the client. Rebooting the PC is the easy way if nothing else is critical.

Huh, I figured uninstalling and installing the newer client version would have been enough of a fresh start. But I rebooted the system and now the GPU slot has a WU and is running fine. Thanks for the help.
