I have three Macs that have been folding forever. For the last 10 hours or so they have all failed to get new assignments:

I don't see that server listed on the Server Status page, so I cannot look to see if that server is just out of work units, or what... will have to wait for more reports to know for sure.

Or maybe someone will see your report and check that server.

171.64.65.124 is showing Reject on the Server Status page ... PG notified.

Could you please post the beginning section of your log? We would need information from there showing the system and client configuration to see what type of assignments are being requested.

Both 171.67.108.200 and 171.67.108.204 are assignment servers. As for the WS that is currently in Reject status, it is not the only source of WU's for OS X, but not all sources will provide work to all configurations. The beginning section of the log will provide that necessary information.

Hi I’m practically computer illiterate but… I think I’m getting the same errors as R.Ludt with F@H suddenly not working anymore
I’m on a MacBookPro Core i7 OS10.9.5 (16GB Ram 1600MHz DDR3)
I was away when the errors started so I don’t think it’s user error. I tried disconnecting my network filter LittleSnitch and restarting but it didn’t help
The browser and control app seem to be OK
I don’t use screensaver and my computer has automatic sleep turned off
The folding power was on light settings before it stopped working
I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app

The common factor between the two logs is that both are running with the client-type left at the default setting. Though the servers that were providing WU's to OS X machines have projects that were released to full folding, it appears that with this one WS down there are not enough WU's set to be assigned to that setting. If you add the client-type setting of advanced, there is a good chance your machines will get a WU assigned.

I did test this on my Mac's. They are usually set to either advanced or beta, and one was close to turning in a WU when I got home. I removed the advanced setting and it did not get an assignment on the regular setting. After about 15 minutes I set the folding slot to advanced again and received a new WU the next time it requested work from the AS.

You need to post more detailed instructions. There is nothing in the Configure windows called "client-type setting."

Assignment servers are not currently listed on the server status page. The change occurred over the Summer. Currently only work servers are shown on the page.

I tried reading the Configuration Guide page linked above. I didn't understand a word of it. Does this mean my folding days are over?
