Failed to get assignment; empty work server

I've had folding on hiatus over the summer (as my apartment lacks air conditioning, and having two PCs belching heat 24/7 during the hottest months of the year is incompatible with decent human living conditions ;)), and now that I've resumed again I find that neither of my rigs will download any work units for CPUs.

Both PCs run Win10 installed from scratch (not upgrades), latest patches installed and so on.

This log is from my main rig, but both of them look pretty much identical, down to accessing the same IP for work assignments:

Set the CPU count to 6.

You did not post the 'interesting' part of your log where it lists your configuration, so I will make random stabs in the dark.

You may have your CPUs set to some multiple of a prime number over 3, that seems to be working out poorly lately. Try reducing the number of CPUs to some multiple of 2 or 3.

You may have altered a firewall setting, try going to 171.64.65.35 in your browser.

(You may wish to upgrade to the latest version 7.4.15)

I hope one of those solves it.

Oops! I thought I got all of the log file... Sorry about that. Anyway, yeah, setting CPU threads to 6 (it was 7 originally), pausing the CPU client and then resuming again made it immediately download a work unit and starting work.

Thanks a lot to you and 7im for your help!
