No, you can't block or choose the project you get ...
I don't want to fold is not a valid reason ... there is probably a reason (or a problem) with them that makes you think that you don't want them and it would be better to solve this issue ...

This is a likely reason, some of these really suck for ppd. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=29288 The guy in charge was contacted a month ago and nothing has been said about it since.

Re: Blocking a Server and its Projects
Having just trawled my hfm logs, they run just fine on a 980ti or anything less, ppd does however tail off on a 1070 or greater. However since 9205 & 06 give me above normal PPD on my 980ti and 1070 send them all to me
On a serious note, PPD does vary across projects, it all evens out in the end

Re: Blocking a Server and its Projects
I haven't gotten any of those in quite a while and I'm sooo glad. My PPD is up 400K without them.Rel25917 wrote:This is a likely reason, some of these really suck for ppd. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=29288 The guy in charge was contacted a month ago and nothing has been said about it since.
1080 and 1080TI GPUs on Linux Mint
Re: Blocking a Server and its Projects
Because they run for 8-10 hours and stay at 99% for 2 or 3 more hours.ComputerGenie wrote:Why don't you want to run them?
The last one that completed on my GTX 1080 took 15 hours.
They are Poorly made and with NVIDIA having bad driver and driver it is costing me a lot money to only have failed WU over and over on my GTX 1080.
At least on my GTX 980 they do complete after 9 or so hours.
This why for the most part.

Re: Blocking a Server and its Projects
I have tried that before and found it best not to ask for that kind of help here on the Support Forum.toTOW wrote:No, you can't block or choose the project you get ...

All the other Threads about 92xx Projects have been forgotten about and have gone unanswered.
That is why I only asked if they could be blocked and that was all.

Re: Blocking a Server and its Projects
If it's taking 6 more hours with a 1080 than a 980, seems like a setup/card issue and not a project issue (to me, anyway).
