The stats are still not being updated. Any feedback from PG?

That can take some time until fixed - guess not until Monday as nobody is there at Stanford over the weekend.

That's unfortunate since the problem was reported more that 24 hours ago. PG had all day Friday to address the issue prior to being off for the weekend.

Feel lucky when you can go straight to a problem and fix it. So often there's something else that is causing the problem and many steps have to be traced through to finally get to the problem. And each step takes time. And as often as not something has to be ordered to do the final fix. And occasionally that part is put on back order.

Not saying that that's the problem (I don't know) but the bottom line is that it will be fixed when it's fixed and not before.

Since the flat files started being updating again last Sunday, the user stats flat file has not been generated every hour. The last update for today occurred at 00:24:52 CDT (5 hours ago). Please have someone check this problem.

Stats are acting crazy

Post by rickoic »

Mod note: Topics merged - j

On one update the team will get a bunch of points credited to it, but donors will have 0 points credited to them.

The next update the donors will get caught up on points but the team will have 0 points credited to it.

Sure we are not losing points but it sure is crazy.

Tks
Rick

Just checked the 9am CDT update and team got some points but I didn't. Checked the official stats and it gives me a larger total than Extreme OC does.?

Don't know if its the Folding file created or Extreme OC decoding of the file that's the problem?

Yeah they've been crazy since the stats servers came back up after the outage last weekend.

If you read either of the other two threads on this topic, so much would be clear to you.

Still stuffed :-( ...

Timestamp from the user flat file "Tue Oct 23 00:24:52 CDT 2018" downloaded/created 16:39:27
Timestamp from the team flat file "Tue Oct 23 10:20:01 CDT 2018" downloaded/created 16:39:54

Also it appears that bonuses for quick return are not being awarded ... in my case I should have had an extra 20% today comparing the difference between the estimate of what my log files say I should have been credited with and what appears to have been credited. Log file credits sum to 311 212 and difference in files is 259 202.

JimboPalmer: Yes I have been following those two topics. This is probably a part of them both, but is a new problem also in that the weekend outage is NOT completely fixed as is probably thought to be when stats began flowing again.
