FAH stopped folding and i cannot get it to start again.

i have been folding for a few months now, on 3 computers. one of my 3 computers stopped folding. now this is not a first. all i had to do in the past it tell it to stop and start again. this time this did not work. i tried restarting the program from the task manager, i tried restarting my PC. i tried reinstalling the program. i even tried going in as a different user. none if it seemed to make it work.

can anyone help me out here?

Also, this computer is connected to the internet. (i am using it right now to type this) Firewall is not blocking the program either as far as i can tell

The short response error messages indicate otherwise. Your firewall or anti-malware software is blocking the connections. The FAHClient process needs the same permissions to transfer using the http protocol on ports 80 or 8080 as any browser. Some anti-malware blocks such connections by default if not from a "known" browser.

I turned off both Avast and MS firewall. it still does not work.

i checked the log, i am getting the same error

ok, it is working again. all i had to do was reset the modem. why would that matter? and why does it only effect one of the 3 computers i have FaH running on?

1) You have updated your config several times but you didn't show the initial version that FAH found (near the top of the log). Notice that the original version of your config is missing, meaning you didn't install correctly or you're not using the shortcut provided during the installation:

2} If you have 3 computers running FAH and only two of them are folding, resetting the modem shouldn't matter. It's more likely an issue with the firewall settings on the non-working computer. It sounds like maybe you fixed it. If the other computers don't run FAH, it's more likely an issue with the installation or your starup method.

3: FAH should configure itself during installation. That didn't happen:
