It started to work now.

This error message is due to the queue being about empty at the moment. Servers are slammed to a very rapid growth of new users to Folding@home. We are all exhausting the workunits in the queue faster than they are made available. The research teams are rapidly setting up new servers and getting more research projects online (including COVID-19). Leave the software running and it should pick up new work as it is available. The situation should resolve over the next couple of days.
