There has to be uncounted thousands of Work Unit Results attempting to upload to this server for the last 24+ hrs. Blind first guess is that it may be a TCP connection issue.

Does the possibility exist for future projects to always include a Collection Server for cases like this?

The configuration of a CS has always existed. It is up to the researcher setting up projects to configure this as it is optional.

I see. Hopefully some more useful info: The uploads all fail at the same time. For instance, if I have 3 separate machines simultaneously trying to upload batches, their percentages will increase until they are all cut short at the same time:

Curious to see what happens when one computer reaches 10 unsent wu's. The files are numbered 0-9 so after reaching 9 it will have no where to go. Will it start overwriting the previous wu or what? Don't mind the loss of points so much from the wu's just sitting there, but to finish one and to just have it sit there until the time limit expires is criminal.
I'm folding because Dec 2005 I had radical prostate surgery.
Lost brother to spinal cancer, brother-in-law to prostate cancer.
Several 1st cousins lost and a few who have survived.

Whilst I understand your frustration at not being able to upload, I think "criminal" is a tad extreme? … The team will be trying to get this rectified as quick as they can - but it is a weekend, during a period where lockdowns and needing to care for themselves as well as others are making just doing the day job difficult, and they have been/are a bit busy coping with the rapid expansion of the infrastructure and the challenges this brings … The researchers will be at least as frustrated as you are - these are their projects getting delayed - and the situation is sub-optimal, so everyone will be doing the best they can to get this sorted … Please be patient and things will sort themselves out.

I noticed that a system I've upgraded the CPU on and that just finished stress testing that I'd put back to folding was completing a WU14561 from 128.252.203.2 but in this case actually had a CS defined as 52.224.109.74 which is not in Assign but Accept mode. So predictably it failed sending the WU to 128.252.203.2 but then succeeded in sending it to 52.224.109.74. It naturally immediately was assigned back to 128.252.203.2 as it's WS and then picked up a 14562 WU again with no CS set.

So perhaps they are slowly fixing the WUs on the server to have a CS as well.
