so if posting this is moot, let me know and I'll won't post identical ones in the future

Wu result file bigger than 100MB fail on transfer to 3.*

Postby sf8kkn » Wed Apr 29, 2020 1:13 am

Hi there, I'm still under 7.5.1. Again I just finished a wu that client can't send because result file is bigger than 100MB ( 141MB here ), another 3-4 hours lost ...

1 error on this wu between 62 and 63% :
22:13:56:WU00:FS01:0x22:Bad State detected... attempting to resume from last good checkpoint. Is your system overclocked?
22:13:56:WU00:FS01:0x22:Following exception occured: Potential energy error of 93.2721, threshold of 10
22:13:56:WU00:FS01:0x22:Reference Potential Energy: -851433 | Given Potential Energy: -851340

But then going to 100%

And finally failed on transfer :
23:56:09:WU00:FS01:Sending unit results: id:00 state:SEND error:NO_ERROR project:16435 run:2182 clone:1 gen:0 core:0x22 unit:0x0000000003854c135e9a4ef80d9c109e
23:56:09:WU00:FS01:Uploading 141.53MiB to 3.133.76.19
23:56:09:WU00:FS01:Connecting to 3.133.76.19:8080
23:56:09:WARNING:WU00:FS01:Exception: Failed to send results to work server: Transfer failed
23:56:09:WU00:FS01:Trying to send results to collection server
23:56:09:WU00:FS01:Uploading 141.53MiB to 3.21.157.11
23:56:09:WU00:FS01:Connecting to 3.21.157.11:8080
23:56:09:ERROR:WU00:FS01:Exception: Transfer failed

Is this limit still active on the last client version ?
Is there any way to not finish that wu and get another ?

Thanks

@Firefox-89, Can you post your log? It'd be useful to see what project the WU is for and the server that's failing to accept the result.

Can you post the section of the log when you received this WU and started work on it? I'd like to see if it was assigned between 2020-04-25 04:44:27 and 2020-04-25 04:58:01.

The researcher has confirmed the server has been set to accept returns for this project. If the retry fails, please post that section of the log too.

Welcome to the F@H Forum smharr10,

Please note that the F@H Team is aware of this issue and is working on it. In the meantime, please leave the client running and the WU will eventually be returned hopefully before the expiration date.
