140.163.4.210 (P17800): No credits after succesful upload

Post by Patrick Australien »

Hi,

that's not a problem for me, just a feedback.
This type of thing/issue does happen and can take time to sort out on beta WUs - it is a "price" of running the flag and is accepted ...
................

Probably a blockage in the stats system ?
For two projects 17800 (beta Project), I'm not getting credits. On opening the WU Status page, though, I read " Not found." My two WU seems to have vanished...

From other posts I understand sometimes it may take a little while, so I've waited a couple hours before posting.

Code: Select all

14:54:18:WU01:FS01:Upload complete
14:54:18:WU01:FS01:Server responded WORK_ACK (400)
14:54:18:WU01:FS01:Final credit estimate, 68204.00 points

Code: Select all

.......

22:46:53:WU00:FS01:Upload 76.38%
22:46:58:WU00:FS01:Upload complete
22:46:58:WU00:FS01:Server responded WORK_ACK (400)
22:46:58:WU00:FS01:Final credit estimate, 67870.00 points
I am not after points anyway, but I was more concerned that work might get lost.

In France this is called "La part des anges" :)
It is the part of the volume of an alcohol which evaporates during its aging in barrels.

it might be pertinent for them to know if they were uploaded to the 140...210 server or to a collection server

There have been quite a few recent complaints about credits not appearing promptly. I have no useful information about when these issues will be resolved. Apparently the connections between the servers that receive the completed WUs and the servers that track the points isn't robust. The results do make their way back to the Work Server and the trajectories can be continued. Eventually the queued credit reports show up on the official stats.

Hi bruce

OK.

I have a member of my team who is in the same situation, but with a larger number of WU.

More information

Member: Charentais49
Team: 51

NONE of the 20 WU 17800 I have folded since January 30 has been counted to me, they represent a total of over 1,620,000 points.
I had my first 17800 without being in the beta channel. I have just realized that it is these WUs that have been credited and that it is since I had switched to the beta channel that the WU 17800 are no longer credited to me.

What matters to us is that the work is not lost. The points don't matter.

The points may not matter to you, but they do to others.

We'll keep pushing on fixing *.210.

Hello bruce.

I'm sorry, it's true.
I'm not after points anyway, but I was more worried that the work would get lost. Which does not appear to be the case.

Thank you for the answers and the investigations.
