Ive started getting a starge log :

What is "Timer requesting checkpoint"
i never seen this before ?

in fahman the update intervel is set to 5 min and has been since i installed it.

The timered checkpoint is built into the client. One of the advanced items you can change in figuring.
Normal it 15 minutes. Can be set from 1-30.

I would check your log. See if "Extra SSE boost OK" is written in it, at start of folding.
With those times, looks like you are running on normal loops, and not advanced.

My times - P4 630 9.5 MPF, C2D 6320 4.5 MPF.

Stop the client with "Control - C", wait a few minutes, then restart. Look for this:
