Strangely, this one restarted without so much as a hint as to what happened in the logs (as far as I can see).

Am I overlooking something?

Sorry your post got overlooked so long. We normally get back to people sooner than that.

What I see is unusual.

My first guess is that you have not excluded C:\Program FilesFolding@home\CORE2\Folding@home\Folding@home-x86 from virus scans. Some AV programs get over-zealous and delete things that shouldn't be deleted. When the FahCore doesn't find the checkpoint file, it starts the WU from zero.
