Project: 7809 (Run 8, Clone 205, Gen 51) no bonus points

Post by vmzy »

Code: Select all

03:51:41:WU00:FS00:Server responded WORK_ACK (400)
03:51:41:WU00:FS00:Final credit estimate, 4570.00 points
I finished this WU in 4 days (Preferred is 25.60 days). But I only got base credits 1723 points. The WU before it got bonus fine .So I can make sure that I have 10+ smp2 WUs, 80% successful ratio & right passkey .Can you give my bonus back?

This is second time I met this kind of thing this year.viewtopic.php?f=19&t=20503

It looks like the last WU you submitted didn't get a bonus either.

Hi vmzy (team 3213),
Your WU (P7809 R8 C205 G51) was added to the stats database on 2012-04-10 21:07:58 for 1722.5 points of credit.

Hi vmzy (team 3213),
Your WU (P8024 R177 C8 G8) was added to the stats database on 2012-04-11 06:08:10 for 185 points of credit.

My guess is you have fallen below the 80% success rate.

PM sent.

I have only one machine running fah(I have quit fah for serval months, because of one no bonus WU in january .But It happened again ).
Why my successive ratio drop below 80% without any failure WU on 2012.4.10?The 3 WUs before 4.10 all got bonus.
May be there is something wrong with your stat code. Please check it .
I have quit FAH again now ,If things will go on like this(suddenly drop down success rate randomly without any reason ), I will never come back again .

If there were a stats problem, it would be affecting thousands of people, and hundreds of those people would be posting about it in the forum. So far, you're the first to suggest such a problem.

And for us to figure out the problem, you'll have to post more than 2 lines of your log file. Please post all of it so we can see a work unit progress from start to finish. Thanks.

I had email my v7 logs&client.db to Chelseaoilman.I wish he can figure out what`s going on there.
I can make sure that my client have no error .There must be something wrong with your stat system .
If people can check their point from your stat system easily ,more and more people will find your stat system`s problem .As you know we cannot query ppd ,points ,bonus point ,success rate,WU history etc from your website now.

It unfair ,FAH stat system bave bug ,why it shouldn't be fixed ?
I stack on stat system bug fixing rather than points .If FAH insisted on using QRB ,they should make it fair .Or I request FAH to shut QRB down .

I have 2 suggestions for vmzy.

1: If there is a bug I suggest that you supply enough information for the team for track down the bug since you are the only one who are able to reproduce it. It seems that you are the only one who are experience this bug and therfore the only person who can help finding the bug.

2: Since points dont realy matter (they dont help with science) then you can ingore how many points you are getting pr WU. QRB is already unfair since it is only working with SMP anyway.

And you have still not anwaret my qestion. Why are you stuck on thos points when they dont matter to the science?

vmzy, are you still folding? I don't see any more WUs being submitted by you. The last one was the one I posted above over a week ago. It doesn't really help to diagnose the issue if your not submitting WUs.

Another thing I was wondering, when it was discovered you have used 3 different passkeys you said you didn't. Is it possible you did use different passkeys and didn't realise it? If you request your passkey again using a different email address you will get a different passkey. Maybe you didn't know that.

After I realized bonus missing ,I had stop folding .I will restart it ASAP to help you diagnose stat bug .
I havent change my passkey since I install V7 one year before .I can make sure I didnt have 3 different passkeys .The passkey I am using was requested many years ago (saved in a txt file, never rerequest again).I used it for many years .
BTW: the bouns missing was only happened on V7. it never happened when I used v6 .

finished another WU

Code: Select all

09:07:09:WU01:FS00:0xa4:Project: 8026 (Run 47, Clone 20, Gen 9)
...
13:34:49:WU01:FS00:Upload complete
13:34:49:WU01:FS00:Server responded WORK_ACK (400)
13:34:49:WU01:FS00:Final credit estimate, 325.00 points
Is this 2 wu enough ? I had shutdown FAH now ,I don't want to waste my cpu time anymore .
I will continue WCG now ,which is fair and bug free for me.

by WCG you mean worldcommunitygrid.org ? If donating CPU/electricity WCG makes you more happy compared with donating it to folding@home I think you should do so. Both folding@home and WCG is in it for a good course. I have been looking WCG my selv (because they are using the bonic platform). I did choice to stick with folding@home because I think they are giving better result pr watt-hour spent on computation. But I am fully supported what they are doing.
