Thanks for that. I will look into it and hopefully, an update will be there when available.

Think it was an error as when i removed the GPU slot and readded it it only shows up with 1 GPU(the GK104 [GTX 680]) when i restarted the client.

It won't run I did it via the CMD
Told it to run the following C:\program files (x86)\FAHClient\FAHControl.exe --lspci
GPU-z says its device ID is 10DE-1180

OK. I see nothing wrong. 10DE-1180 is correct and if it's working now I don't know what changed. If you can figure out what caused it, I'll report it as a bug, but I have not seen other reports that give enough information to know what actually happened.

The important thing is that it's working now.

What settings should i use on the slots then?

GPU index -1
opencl index -1
cuda index -1

and should i add extra slot options as i haven't tried that before?
Should i keep them at the default settings?
cause i have kept it

The important thing is what caused the error:
1) User generated
If you can tell how you made that error, maybe we can find a way to mitigate it.

2) Software error
Can you reproduce it on your system? If so, then we can easily create a ticket with the necessary details.

Any idea how you would clasify this error? FYI, you can always do a fresh installation (after the current WUs are finished) and see if the same error occurs or not. If it does, then it most probably might be a software error which should be fixed.

I just removed all slots, restarted the client only to see the system info list 2 GPUs.

GPU0 FERMI:1 GK104[GTX680]
GPU1 FERMI:1 GF114[GTX 680]

I think i was reading the log wrong.

The entry in the white-list that says 0x10de:0x0e0a:3:1:GK104 [Geforce GTX680] is incorrect. It should say 880x10de:0x0e0a:::NVIDIA Corporation:High Def Audio [unsupported]. It will be corrected in the next update to the white-list.

If you download the GPUs.txt file and make that change manually, the extra "phantom" GPU will disappear -- or you can remove the slot manually -- or you can just ignore it until PG updates GPUs.txt.

It Ignores the other GPU
But it still will not fold on it(get 0% GPU load)

on a side note is it the GK104 that gets removed and not the GF114?
Cause isn't the GPU chip a GK104? the GF114 are the GTX640s from what i have read on wiki.

A change of the text string associated with device 0x1180 has also been updated in the proposed next update for GPUs.txt but the device does not actually change. (The text string is displayed for your information, not for the actual folding process.) Presently it is 0x10de:0x1180:3:1:GF114 [GeForce GTX 680] and it will be changed to 0x10de:0x1180:3:1:GK104 [Kepler GTX 680]
