Once 10 WU's have been completed successfully with the new passkey you will get the QRB as long as you maintain at least a 80% completion rate.

bollix47 can correct me if I'm wrong, but I read his statement as say that the 10 count doesn't start until the work units are both downloaded and uploaded using the new passkey.
And I read your's to say, correct me if wrong, that the 10 count starts with the WUs currently in progress assuming a new passkey is entered now. And that it doesn't matter about changing the passkey midstream because the old passkey and the new passkey are not bonus eligible.
Granted, only a small difference for a donor with only a few systems, but a difference none the less.
Great. With your setup I doubt it would take much more than half a day to qualify a new passkey assuming the faulty client is no longer causing failures.
You might want to roll-out your new passkey gradually. Start with 2 or 3 machines, I don't know your setup, then add new ones gradually incase the bad setups still around.

Okay.
Then it may be better to finish the current work units on the old passkey, using the -oneunit flag, or the V7 equivalent. Then stop the client, then put in the new passkey, then start it again.
Switching the passkey in the middle of a work unit may not report favorably against the new passkey.
