Post by beer »

When I start some* applications then my computer become laggy when I folding on 7620-7626. The only solution I can come up with is pause folding while I run those applications. Other idear what I could do?

*Those applications are at least:
WoW
Skyrim
Diablo 3
Netflex running in chrome

My computer information is:

Code: Select all

This is normal for the GPU client, so pausing it (as you have done) it the correct way to eliminate the lag.

The GPU uses 100% of its resources when folding, so when doing high-end gaming, you need to pause it. I do this. The SMP is fine to leave running during gaming.

The GPU is designed to run as close to real time as possible for games/videos/etc and doesn't have interrupts like the CPU does so there is the lag while GPU folding.
