If (and when) it fails again, try stopping it at 5% and start it again. Before doing so, see if you notice anything funny with the memory usage. I've begun suggesting this over the qfix solution lately as the qfix method just passes the hot potato to someone else [delaying science] and have them deal with it [more frustration].

Strangely, it's at 10% on second try, and still processing ... I'll keep watching it until completion ...
