Is it just me? This GPU otherwise apparently stable on last 25 units, all 7810/7811, since moving from Windows PC to Linux PC.

GTX660ti. Has adaptive clocking which is flat out (705MHz) but no forced overclocking. Temp stable below 60C.
Card was also previously reasonably error free running in a Windows PC.

I can't see any clues here, hence the post here to see if the WU is known bad, known good, or so far unknown.

Persons have reported that stable overclocks in Windows have not been stable in Linux. Is there a factory overclock on the card or is it running at reference settings?

And yes, someone else has successfully completed the WU already.

OK, I'll keep an eye on it. It's only one occurrence in 25 WUs so far (correction: now 26 WUs).

From memory, this was a reference setting card -- I've had it some time and factory overclocks were not (widely) available then.

I successfully folded several FahCore_17 WUs under Ubuntu LTS 64-bit on my EVGA GTX 660 Ti (factory overclocked) without any issues. The only time I encountered hardware issues was when my CPU/RAM was overclocked from the BIOS. While the settings were stable under Windows, they were unstable under Ubuntu so in the end, I created a default settings profile in the BIOS and would load that up before booting into Ubuntu and change it back to the overclocked when booting into Windows.
