You do know that more WUs are always coming in, so the numbers will never drop to zero.

What was the outstanding WU count before your supposed stats backlog started, just for reference?

I found a place some uncredited WUs are hiding and notified PG. Let's give them a little longer before digging into specifics.

While you're working on your list, it might be helpful to see if you can identify a pattern associated with a specific server. Remember there have been recent issues with some servers other than the stats server and patterns are the first thing to look for.

The concept never even occurred to me.

Have you tried looking at the trend of the number outstanding?

No idea, I didn't have any WUs missing then.

I can't identify a pattern because I can't identify individual WUs from the donor stats, so don't know which may be missing.

Bollix47 has requested the list to see if he can find anything, so I've completed it and PM'd it to him.

All have been checked ... 5 missing from server 171.64.65.124. Bill will check the 5 missing against his logs again to ensure correctness and then post the missing WUs here. They were all projects 900x and dated Jan 9th between 16:24 and 22:12.

All checked (twice!) from the HFM log and the numbers correspond.

They are:

9005(53,9,12)

9007(1,31,15)

9000(1502,1,73)

9005(44,11,14)

9006(25,18,29)

The points deficit doesn't tally with what I thought it was, but as I thought I only had 4 WUs missing it's clear that my arithmetic could benefit from another check :eo

Just as confirmation- because I knew what I was looking for this time (and have a suspicious mind) I had a rummage through the actual client logs (3 of them)- all 5 WUs were uploaded without reported error to 171.64.65.124:8080.

We apologize for all of the server issues. We are currently working on debugging the hardware issues and will keep you posted. We are aware that many WUs have not been crediting and are looking into this problem. Rest assured, all bonuses are recored at the WS level and so will be credited as normal despite the delay. We are going to be very thorough, but it will take some time to sift through everything, so we ask you to be patient, and we will let you know when things are back to normal.

It appears that this is a different issue, but will be resolved shortly. Additionally, the WUs that were initially missed last week, should have been credited sometime on Thursday.

Bill, your WUs should be credited in the next stats update. Please let me know if that is not the case.

All of Bill's missing 5 work units are now showing up in the database.

Thanks for your help Christian.

I see no trend in that link.
