Do the WU's that you see report low PPD's have the correct number of steps as mentioned in earlier posts of this thread? Post your log to at least give some idea what the problem is if that is not the problem.

It is supposed to have 1,000,000 steps it appears to have 500,000 steps. I have been receiving these for several days now. Here is the listing:

Please reread the prior posts. The correct number of steps is 500,000. It would indicate that you had a bad WU if the number was something other than that such as 1,000,000.

You did not post the beginning of your log, which version of the client are you running? The message:

Code: Select all

[22:00:42] Work type a4 not eligible for variable processors
may indicate you are running too early a version, you should be running at least 6.34. A later line appears to indicate your are running the 6.29 version of the client, that may be causing you to run on just one core, not 4. Version 6.29 only supported the uni-processor version of the A4 core as I recall.

Beyond that, have you checked for what else is running on that system and using CPU time?

So far none of the WU's you have posted about have turned out to be bad, just running slow on your system.

P.S. If this is the problem, all Core_A4 projects would be affected, Core_A3 WU's would run on all 4 cores assigned to them.

Your eagle eye spotted the right answer. For some reason 3 of my machines were still running 6.29. I updated them and all is running well. Or at least I am not getting 7520's anymore. THx.
